Turning Pointe Dance Center Dress Code
Classes Ages 3-8 (All Ballet and Combination classes)
- Any color leotard and tights
- Ballet skirts may be worn (no pants, jeans, or dresses)
- Pink Ballet shoes (Leather) and Black Tap & Jazz shoes
- No Jazz shoes are needed for 3-4 or 4-5 class.
- Hair should be neat and pulled away from dancers face
- No jewelry
Ballet Classes Ages 8-10 and 11+
- Black Leotard and Pink tights
- Pink Ballet shoes (preferably split sole)
- Hair should be neat and pulled away from dancers face (preferably in a bun)
- No Jewelry
Classes Ages 8-10 and 11+ (Jazz, Lyrical, and Tap)
- Dancewear Example: leggings, spandex short or pants, tank tops
- Leotards and tights are strongly encouraged
- NO jeans or Dresses
- Black Tap shoes (Capezio Fluid CG17, Capezio Maryjane #3800 or Bloch)
- Black Jazz Shoes
- Dance Paws or Foot undeez for Lyrical
- Hair should be neat and pulled away from dancers face
- No Jewelry
Hip Hop Classes
- Comfortable clothing (No jeans or dresses)
- Black Jazz shoes (Ages 8-10)
- Clean Sneakers (Ages 11+) please check with teacher on color
- Hair should be neat and pulled away from dancers face
Boys (All Ages)
- Loose clothing (Gym Shorts or Sweatpants)
- Black Jazz and Tap
- Black Ballet shoes
